  Casual chatter and low music within a small setting makes this place feel very relaxed and casual. Lighting could be slightly brighter, just enough to read the menu better, otherwise it's great for a relaxed atmosphere. Not a party spot for sure, but just a great local place to meet up with a friend or have a drink after work. The bartender Sam seems actively engaged with everybody which is a hard thing to do as a bartender. Nice to have a place that isn't all about packing in the college kids.

  Classic bar. Would recommend getting the featured drinks. Drinks can get expensive, the four drinks we had were $10-$11 each. Great place to sit enjoy a well made cocktail and an amazing conversation. Simple atmosphere with sparks of playfulness thrown in. Spam can, tiki cup, and a interesting creamer are thrown in the wall of many different alcohol. Enjoy the experience and cheers.

  Great spot for artisanal cocktails in downtown NoHo. It's our regular spot if we're meeting friends downtown for a drink - and yes, they'll prepare drinks that aren't on the menu if they know the recipe. For example, I regularly request a penicillin and they gladly oblige. It can be a little slow when it's busy, but that's because they're taking the care required to prepare a good cocktail.
